The Name Badge runs on a small CR2032 watch type battery. One battery can last up to 20 hours depending on the number of messages, characters, display speed and brightness selected. Your custom messages stay programmed in the Name Badge even when you turn off the Badge and remove the battery! To program the Digital Name Tag using your computer, your computer must have an available Comm Port. If you are unsure about your computer's configuration, consult your computer vendor prior to ordering.
